Preparing For Your Bridal Appointment

You’ve booked your appointment with us and now you’re counting down the days until you try on our gorgeous gowns—but the question is, what do you bring to your appointment? These are all our most-have items and our expert tips so you’re all set for a successful day of wedding dress shopping. We can’t wait to welcome you.

What to bring with you?

Inspiration

Bringing along wedding dress inspiration to your appointment is important. We recommend adding all of the dresses you have liked from Pinterest, our website and anything you have tried before to an album on your phone. Your consultant will talk through these with you on the day and we’ll use this and your pre-appointment form to start helping you find your dream dress.

Undergarments

While shape wear and the perfect bra aren’t necessary until your first fitting, feeling and looking your best can help you feel more confident when trying on, and help you imagine the final look more easily. Most of our styles are backless or have back detail with bras built in, so there’s no need to worry about a bra. Nude seamless underwear/shape wear is a great idea.

Hairs ties or clips

These are really handy! You may want to pull up your hair up with a hair tie or clip to help you envision your wedding day look if you choose to wear an updo, or just to help see the detail on the back of a dress better.

Shoes

There’s no need to bring shoes to your appointment. Our wedding dresses are 6 foot tall, so you will be standing on platform to ensure the dress falls beautifully without bunching on the floor.

Your squad

Make sure you bring along one or two close family members and friends to help you “Say Yes”. Keep in mind that less is definitely more—too many opinions from eager family members and friends can ultimately make your decision tougher.

An idea of your budget

We don’t want to break any hearts so if you have a budget in mind, we recommend you let us know this before your appointment so we can help you find the dress of your dreams within it.

Our appointments run back to back, so we would appreciate it if you can please arrive at you allocated appointment time.

When you arrive for your bridal appointment, we will bring you and your bride tribe to your private fitting suite. Our bridal consultant will talk to you about your screenshots and the styles you prefer. At this point we will also confirm your budget, to ensure we don’t pull dresses over this price. If you would rather keep the budget private, please let us know when you book your appointment.

Your stylist will be with you the entire appointment, helping you in and out dresses. Your appointment with us will last an hour and a half.
